Why We Love It: In the southern region of Brazil lies this amazing carrier oil. Found in Babassu palm, this oil is super emollient and solid and stable at room temperature—like coconut oil (but better). This oil is generally acquired by hand with an axe and a stick of wood, and once attained, the kernels of the Babassu palm are pressed and yield into this luxurious oil.  Rich in vitamins, iron and calcium, this oil renews and moisturizes while serving a strong antibacterial element. We use it in our Coconut Leave-In Conditioner to immensely amp-up the hydration factor. It has long been used to support healing eczema and dry skin, and is the perfect addition to a haircare product to address dryness, shrinkage and tangles.
